Roeckell Photography

Meet Canon (yes as in camera) the newest member of the Roeckell family.  Those of you who know me well are wondering who is examining my head these days, but… how could you not fall in love with this little guy.  We rescued him from an animal shelter.  He was born there and has had a pretty good life so far.  It’s been awhile since we’ve had a dog in the house and I have enjoyed the quiet. At times I think I may have made this decision while intoxicated but I think it will work out well. When I see my kids with him and the joy he has brought us in only two days it has to be a good thing…right?!  My husband has picked our past pets and has chosen small pugs (we’ve had two). This time my son Joe who is 13 and a born dog lover got to choose. (with my help of course) Joe needed a big dog he could love, play with and relate to.  So far we are one big happy family.  Stay tuned.

Only smiles from these little guys. Cousins and I’m sure one day best friends. When the stress of tax time wears you out looking at these faces is a quick fix.  Their gigglie smiles are  contagious.

Such a FUN morning in the studio today. Baby number four is on the way and the boys don’t know if they will have  a sister or a brother.  I’m ready with both pink and blue for the newborn session. Can’t wait!

Little brother G wasn’t sure about the wash tub until we filled it with a handful of smarties.  I think little people will do most anything for smarties.  I wonder if they work with husbands?  Worth a try! More to come soon!
