These two have been dancing around in front of my camera since they were four years old. It has been such a treasure to watch them mature into the amazing people they have become. We turned these photos into a beautiful coffee table book that their family will treasure forever.
Happy Holidays to all my wonderful clients. Thank you for another great year.
By now I think its safe to assume that Christmas cards have been mailed so showing off a few favorites won’t spoil any surprises. I love Christmas cards of all kinds. My favorite part is opening them. I love collecting the mail and sorting out the fun mail from the piles of bills and junk. It’s really the only time of the year that I’m eager to get the mail. With the fast paced world we have created for ourselves the Christmas card remains a connection between families that confirms that we are community. A community of believers in all things Christmas.
Happy New Year 2011,
Sally Roeckell
This is for all my readers in those beautiful sunny locations where winter may not be knocking on your door. We scheduled this session a few weeks ago and it had to be postponed because of illness. Luckily our newly scheduled date coincide with our first snowfall. The blanket of white was beautiful and the kids couldn’t have been more excited. Throughout November I have been absent from my blog because it is such a busy season that blogging takes back seat. I have many sessions to post to bring myself up to date. I just couldn’t resist sharing this sneak peak of this snowy day.
Waking a teenager up early can be risky. No problem for this beautiful senior. We met at 7:30am to head to a nearby seminary campus that has beautiful vistas. It was a gorgeous morning. The photos show what a beautiful young lady she has grown to be. Our session ended with a pumpkin latte. Perfect for a cool fall morning.
