BIG Mother’s Day shout out to all the selfless Moms who care for kids through the Safe Families program. They are a not-for-profit group offering parental support and refuge for children who’s families are in crisis. This little guy is safely loved in the home of a friend. She and her husband have taken in several little ones giving them a soft, sweet place to call home until their lives can take a new positive direction. I am constantly in AWE of this Mom because she is the Mother of SIX terrific boys and still offers to give more of herself to others. (Oh my goodness). If you ask her she will tell you that her family has “grown in ways not possible had we not jumped in to help”
